My paternal (dutch) Grandfather had given it to my mother. so it's over 50 years old.
Upset

but I took it in to be fixed and they polished it, and all the black came off... I was so angry!! They had the cheek to tell me it was old and fragile! (It had only been worn about 6 times!!)

I've been avoiding this category, because there's very little jewellery that I like to wear. Wacko

However, I do wear, and have for about 30 years Erm

, a pair of plain gold hoops in my ears (one piercing each side); not hoops with backs on, but simple circles of gold.

I don't have a pic, I'm afraid.

Can't find anything like them online. Dunno

) is a pendant of the Eiffel Tower. It's perfect (not sure where it is!! Blush

The fact that we were bombarded with hawkers over there trying to sell us them, we didn't, but I found a better one here, to me is ironic.
When people comment, I don't mention that I didn't get it there.
