As a matter of fact, yes, I have!
I was given a book called 'Viking' by Tim Severn. Alas, it was purported to be the third in a series ... and I never got to read the first two. Bleddy shame because it was a darned good read. Must try to track down the earlier ones. I'd happily re-read the third.
